Maple and JTM linked by engine deal?

A reliable source inside JTM revealed that Juan Tortella needs to close the agreement with Ferrari (works) engines, if he wants to avoid problems. In accordance with this source Matt Maple requested to his lawyers the inclusion in the contract of a special clause: ?If JTM does not close a works contract with Ferrari, Matt Maple will decide if he continues or not in the team?.

This could put Juan Tortella in a difficult situation keeping in mind that most teams have not confirmed their engine contract for the 2004 season.
