Dan Lawrence expressed all his unhappiness with Ferrari after the team was promised a race winning factory engine only to be given a second rate customer engine.
"Basically the engine is not worthy of the money we are paying for it" said Lawrence, "We want to stay with Ferrari....we will wait until we have concluded our meetings with them before deciding anything. At the end of the day, Ferrari is a good name to have on the car and it creates a lot of money from exposure in magazines and on TV but if it is not capable of winning or even trying to win - then we will have no choice but to terminate our contract with them early. Money is not an issue, we don't care how much it costs to get us to the top of the sport".
Also, Dan Lawrence is making a return to the cockpit for the test session at Monza this week. He will test a new aerodynamic package and an improved Ferrari engine as well as a new steering system which the team have invested heavily in.
It will be the first time that Dan Lawrence will have driven the DL Racing car since he bought the team from Nick Douglas (then know as Sparshot Racing).
