Christian Neumann has won the Malaysian Grand Prix of 2001 after starting from Pole Position, this is his and CVRT's first GPVWC victory.
Ton Hoek finished a strong second for Roaldo Racing although he was some way behind the dominant Neumann. Dan Pyrik brought his Ferrari powered BA Racing car home in 3rd place just 6 seconds shy of 2nd place.
