Woods Racing team principal Ollie Woods today confirmed the exits of Kieran Ryan and Boyd Bryson from the team. Kieran Ryan, the race driver of three years for the team, has decided to move to pastures new in order to prove himself while Bryson, the team's omnipresent reserve driver and GT legend, will no doubt be looking to show his speed at the highest levels of racing.

"I am absolutely gutted to confirm that Kieran Ryan and Boyd Bryson will be leaving us," said Ollie Woods. "Both drivers leave having done immense things for the team throughout their time here. Without Kieran we would not have finished 2nd in the Constructors Championship in 2010, and in fact he was our last winner in the Superleague. He's contributed so much to our team and we're so grateful to him for all his work. Boyd has also done an amazing amount in such a short time and added tintop success to our honours list. He deserves to be in a Superleague seat and I hope that's where we'll see him in 2013. Both drivers will always be welcome back at the team."

Woods was circumspect about the task ahead of the team. "We've tried so hard already to sign proven top running drivers for our second seat. Unfortunately those drivers were snapped up elsewhere before we could sign contracts with them, which was probably my fault for not being organised early enough in the season. It seems ridiculous that so much was decided before November but that's motorsport I guess. We're still in talks with some drivers and will be pleased to hear from anyone else. After finishing 9th this year we really want to push back up the grid to where we belong - it's been slightly embarrassing at times this year but we hope we can fight back."

Any drivers wishing to apply to join the team should contact Ollie Woods in the first instance via private message or Skype.
