DPI's number 1, Dan Lawrence, was ecstatic with his 9th position on the grid for the Australian GP.
"I am quite shocked! I was expecting a lower grid position than this!, a lot lower!"...."Melbourne is not one of my strongest circuits, I will gladly admit that, so to get a result like this in a car which is so low on horsepower is great for myself, and of course the DPI - Ford team. I am quite confident that the race will see us move up from this position. I chose the harder compound tyre knowing full well that this cicruit likes to eat tyres!...so I expect the guys on softer tyres to fall back a bit.....we will see".
