Dizzo driver Chris Day admitted he was glad to see the back of the A1 ring circuit after a dismal weekend in the Syrian mountains.
His weekend was spoilt when he was disqualified from the qualifying session, and was then made even worse when he was taken out of the Austrian GP after a handfull of laps.
"I'm just happy to be leaving this circuit to be totally honest, it's been my worst weekend in an F1 car since joining the GPVWC and I hope that I don't have to experience something similar again this year. I just was never able to get a good setup on the car throughout the weekend and being disqualified made matters even worse. I am going to spend a few days back in England with my girlfriend to clear my head a little before we head off to Monaco for the next race."
