Jason Endean's publicist, Penelope Pitstop made this comment to the press after Peter Knif's resignation from the league was announced.

"Jason Endean would like to thank members of the GPVWC for their support last night. Jason is a bit of a larrikin sometimes and enjoys a few laughs but he is also an honest and very ethical person who was upset at the allegations made by Peter Knif after the results at Silverstone were announced".

"Jason had a number of personal issues that distracted him during qualifying but he was able to settle down and concentrate on racing over the weekend and I think the results speak for themselves."

"I cannot say that Jason is sorry to see Peter leave the league, but I do know that Jason does wish Peter all the best for the future."

"Jason thanks those who defended him on the forum last night. He categorically denies any wrong doing whatsoever and looks forward to putting this behind him and starting his preparation for Canada. He also asks that everyone else do the same so the competition can be enjoyed by all."
