Team changes
- Scuderia Basilea, Green Stripes Racing and YTF1 were promoted to the Superleague.
- Scuderia Clay Geeli, Cosmo Seiki Japan, Draig Racing and Holland Racing Team were promoted to the new 2nd Career Ladder tier (currently referred to as Superleague 2).
- THUnderdog did not continue in the Career Ladder into 2019.
New entries
- Downforce Racing and Shift Gear Racing were promoted from Formula Challenge.
- Frami Autosport, Fusion Racing, Team Rookie Monsters, Rowen GP and TCS Off Racing all made their Career Ladder debuts in 2019.
Returning entries
