Backmarker Brigade is an English sim-racing team based in Harlow, Essex in England. The team is managed by Simon Smith.
The team entered the GPVWC on the eve of the 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix. Simon managed to convince the GPVWC admins he could run a decent team, and BMB's Formula Challenge squad was born.

The new kids on the block : 2013 FC season

The 2013 Formula Challenge season season was a decent debut season. They finished the season in 21th position in the Teams' Championship, despite Oscar Hardwick scoring a hat-trick (pole, fastest lap and win) in the Austrian rounds of 2013.

The struggle, and the podium : 2014 FC season

The The 2014 Formula Challenge season was much different to the 2013 season. The team struggled to get into the points-scoring positions, which was a big worry for Simon. But the 2014 season got a nice turnaround for the team, because Lewis McGlade scored the team's second podium position at the Abu Dhabi round of the championship - as McGlade scored a great 2nd place.
