The Brazilian GT Cup was the first ever event held in World GT during the 2012 Winter GT Series season. The event was and is still held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos. The Brazilian GT Cup was not picked up for the 2013 World GT Series season however was brought back for the 2015 season as the series moved to rFactor 2.
