The Daytona Masters will held at the Daytona International Speedway, Florida debuting during the 2014 Masters Series season under the moniker of the 'Daytona 500 Masters' as the season opener, replacing the Mills Masters. The event heralded a new era in the Masters Series with no teams competing for a championship. Furthermore, 2014 brought with it a brand new endurance-style format with Daytona in particular being one race, 500 laps long.
