Marius continued in FSR until 2008. During this time he founded Deltec Racing Team, named after his own PC computer business. Deltec Computers was the main sponsors at the time.

During 2006, Marius was approached by Armaroli Simulators in Brazil, to afford the opportunity to be the seat holder for Team South Africa in the online Armaroli ASRWC Series. Marius agreed immediately.

2014 we fired up the engines and joined the prestigious GPVWC League, competing in the 2014 World Sport Series. We entered as [[Deltec Racing Team]]. Marius as driver and team manager.

It was a tough 2014 year to say the least. 8 years away from competitive racing, we know it will be a daunting task!

During the 24hr Le Mans Season, Deltec proved they have the focus and mindset to accomplish any task. Although Deltec finished in last position, they completed the magical 300 laps benchmark.

In 2015 [[Deltec Racing Team]] entered into the 2015 Formula Challenge series. This is an exciting year as we have grown from 2014.

We also secured the driver services of [[Denis Mitchell]] and [[Adam Ozgur]].

Both are experienced drivers. [[Klaidas Vareika]] was chosen as early reserve driver. [[Stefan McCready]] succeeded him as reserve driver to date.

Riaan van der Westhuizen is a South African sim-racer who participated for Deltec Racing Team in the 2014 World Sport Series season. He also participates in various South African Leagues with Assetto Corsa, Race07, Project Cars and Race Room Experience.

Early Years

Riaan started his career by racing go karts at a early age, very much like Mr. Michael Schumacher. From then onwards, he was hooked onto racing in general! Riaan went on to race Real Life Experience in the MAN Race Trucks Series on Kyalami, amongst other racing commitments.

In 2005 Riaan joined the Formula SimRacing League, where he did 8 (offline) races in the WS Pro75 division. 2006 saw Riaan relocating to another location, thus only able to finish 3 (online) races in the Pro75 Series. 2007: Riaan - 'I am extremely excited about 2007!
