The Shanghai International Circuit is situated in the Jiading District of Shanghai, People's Republic of China. The track was been a mainstay of the Superleague calendar since 2006, missing only the 2008 season. Custom tracks were avoided by the league during the 2008 season after issues arose over their stability early in the season.
