Simon Melhuish is a English sim-racer who is the owner and manager of Torrent Motorsports. He drove for Halcyon Racing in the 2012 Masters Series, scoring a podium on his way to fifth overall in the standings.

As a team owner, Simon had a very successful year in 2012 with Torrent Motorsports claiming three drivers and constructors championships in the Supercup, Formula Challenge and the World Sport Series.

Superleague

2012

Melhuish began the 2012 as a test driver for Midnight Motorsport. He departed the role in the early stages of the season and was replaced by Jamez Shepherd.

2013

Simon has been confirmed by Torrent Motorsports to be the teams test driver for 2013.

Formula Challenge

2012

Simon competed in a single event in 2012, starting both races at Mondello Park for Wicked Fox Racing. He retired from both races.

Masters Series

2012

Simon helped Halcyon Racing to claim the constructors title and played a supportive role to eventual drivers champion Dave Carr-Smith in the 2012 Masters Series season.
