Stefan McCready is a sim racer from Church Fenton, England.

-- Early Years --

I have been playing racing games since I was about 5. I can remember playing Gran Turismo 1 on the PlayStation 1 and being instantly hooked. About 3 years ago I finally got as decent PC and the logical step for me was to take up Sim Racing, so I purchased rFactor. After about a year of offline racing I decided that I wanted to go find a greater challenge and find a league to race with other people. I found the SLORC (Sim League Online Racing Community) which provided a platform for newcomers into online racing. I didn't have the greatest of starts but it was more about refining my skills. Whilst this was going on I was watching videos from the GPVWC and was always tempted to join but felt I wasn't quite good enough yet. After two years of SLORC and dramatic improvement to my pace and race craft I decided it was time to take on the GPVWC.

-- 2015 --

After a couple of strong races in OS I started to look for a reserve drive or test drive for an FC team, this is where Deltec Racing Team came in. Its a great opportunity to be part of such a great team and there is so much passion flowing through it. Its a very nice environment to be in. Hopefully we can work well and get the results the team deserves". I have also entered a team in the 2015 ITC series under Apex Racing. Drivers Joel Perreira and Scotty Moore as drivers.
