Round 2 at Sepang sees Ghovand Keanie dominate the soaking Malaysian track on his début for SimInk Motorsport, taking Pole and Race 1. In the challenging, changing conditions of race 2, Emanuel Gaczella emerges to win convincingly, but it is Ari Nieminen, completing a clean-sweep of podiums so far this year, who retains his lead at the top of the driver's championship. The series is still to witness an incident-free start however.
The 2013 Formula Challenge season gets under way at Melbourne, with a huge turn out with over 40 drivers competing. Both races are unfortunately marred by start-line accidents and a few incidents of bad driving, but both races provide highly entertaining scraps for the top positions. Pole, Fastest Laps and Race 1 go to Emanuel Gaczella while Race 2 goes to Wopke Hoekstra. It is Ari Nieminen who emerges as the early championship leader however.
The 2013 Formula Challenge mod is revealed to be based on Formula 2 and both the trackpack and mod are now available via simsync.
