A return to winning ways for Bart De Vos at the Spanish Grand Prix, coupled with a non-finishes rivals for Pavel Loknovski and David Jundt mean that the Belgian driver is now on the verge of claiming the 2011 title at Spa. Nordsjoen Racing seem increasingly secure for 2nd place in the constructors after a 2-4 finish.  

Pavel Loknovski managed to pip championship leader Bart De Vos at the line in the Italian Grand Prix, with the two separated by only 0.069s - one of the narrowest winning margins in league history.  

In a thrilling race Ojay Clark grabbed his maiden GPVWC win in the Brazilian Grand Prix driving for Synergetic Motorsports. Championship leader Bart De Vos crossed the line in 2nd, while Ryan Walker took 3rd place and fastest lap during a battle in the final laps.  

The Canadian Grand Prix saw Belgian Bart De Vos return to winning ways as behind him Pavel Loknovski retook 2nd place in the standings. In the team competition Malta Force GP extended their lead and Nordsjoen overtook Nijo in the battle for 2nd.  

Ryan Walker scored his first ever GPVWC win in Mexico ahead of Gregg Lawson and David Jundt. The standings are looking closer once more as three of the top contenders failed to score.
