2011 Supercup

 
  • 2011 Constructors' Champions Malta Force have made a surprise return to the Supercup, having taken the place of RTS. They have announced their all-Maltese lineup as being Jason Muscat and Terence Grech. Meanwhile TEM unveiled their lineup as being Tom Parker and Chris Williamson.  
  • Red 5 Racing became the first of the Supercup teams to unveil their 2012 lineup. The team have opted to test out two recent newcomers to the GPVWC in the shape of Masters drivers Jon MacLean and Lee Massey.  
  • Bids for places in the 2012 Supercup have been reviewed and four new teams will join the lineup. They include CSG Racing who return to GPVWC after a year out, alonside Masters teams Tiger Express Motorsports and NRT Racing. Newly established team Innervision take Nordsjoen's place as 2011 contenders Malta Force and Nijo Racing withdraw.  
  • Malta Force managed to finish the season in style with British driver Lewis Redshaw taking the win ahead of teammate Bart De Vos in the Singpore Grand Prix. Ojay Clark took a controversial 3rd place and is one of several drivers under investigation by the stewards.
