Alex Cooper is an English sim-racer currently driving for Midnight Motorsport in the GPVWC Superleague. Cooper finished second in the 2012 Supercup. He also made two Superleague starts and was declared the winner of the Japanese Grand Prix, his second Superleague start. On the 27th of November 2012, it was announced that Alex would make the step up to Superleague as a race driver for Midnight Motorsport in 2013.

Superleague
2012
Alex made his Superleague debut as an emergency replacement for Nick Rowland at the Dutch Grand Prix. Cooper qualified third and finished a highly creditable sixth, despite having to pit for damage during the race. Alex was once more called up for Superleague duty at Suzuka, this time subbing for the ill Lukas Euler. While Alex finished the day second on the track, the penalty handed out to Jamez Shepherd promoted Alex to race winner.

Supercup
2011
Alex Cooper made his Supercup debut for Red 5 Racing midway through the 2011 Supercup season at Bahrain. He qualified in 11th position and went on to finish the race in eight position. This would be his only start in the 2011 season.
