PENALTIES
  • Matteo Keersmaekers vs Deagen Fairclough - Fairclough runs into the back of Keersmaekers on the apex of T1. It is unusual for a car to be 30mph slower on the apex, and that is definitely a contributing factor that mitigates against a Punt penalty, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the car behind to avoid the contact in this situation where Fairclough had a clear view to do so. Penalty Deagen Fairclough for Avoidable Contact - 10 place grid penalty and 3 LC points.

  • Pawel Andrzejewski vs Giuseppe Saracino - It was not possible for Saracino to see what was happening ahead. Racing incident.
  • Pawe? Andrzejewski vs Liam Rance - Rance leaves the required space to the white line, Andrejewsk locks up and misses the apex, resulting in contact. Racing incident.
  • Tobias Olsson vs Thomas Harvey - Harvey gets an overlap half way around the corner, so Olsson is already committed to his line. Harvey takes a tighter line that results in contact and damage for Olsson. Penalty Thomas Harvey for Avoidable Contact - 20 second time penalty and 3 LC points.
  • Mark Hutchinson vs Matteo Keersmaekers - Keersmaekers is slow into T1 as a result of his battle with Singh, but is entitled to take this line. Also covered in Keersmaekers vs Fairclough. Racing incident.
  • Mark Hutchinson vs Jack Mayor - Mayor is close behind Hutchinson and doesn't have time to react to Hutchinson braking for a car spinning that Mayor cannot see. Racing incident.
