PENALTIES
  • Jason Muscat - Unsafe rejoin
    15 seconds time penalty
    At the end of lap 1 Muscat moves to the left of Mason and effectively goes off track by crossing the pit entry line after the split. As Muscat rejoins the track he makes contact with the rear left of Masons car resulting in a spin and damage to Masons car.
  • Eduard Batalla vs Maciej Mlynek - Avoidable contact - Racing Incident
    Although Mlynek makes contact with the rear of Batallas car under braking for turn 4, it must be noted that Mlynek does in fact brake earlier compared to his usual braking point and that Batalla moves across the track under braking. As he does this at such a late section of the braking zone, it gives Mlynek no time to react and is the primary cause of the incident. Had Batalla held his line and not drifted back over to the right like he did, the incident would not have occurred, as such this is being classed as a racing incident.
