Nordsjoen Team Manager William Ponissi issued a brief statement aiming to dismiss rumours linking former team driver Janne Tanskanen to the Cardiff-based outfit.
"Janne is a friend and will always be at home at Nordsjoen" said Ponissi, "we had a fantastic year together and the dominance of the Tanskanen-Nordsjoen package is still fresh into everyone's memory. But I can confirm that we have four driver contracts and we intend to honour them until their expiration, no matter how fast a driver comes knocking. Nordsjoen has always been loyal to its drivers - Janne knows it and the respect we have always shown to drivers is one of the reasons we had such a splendid working relationship."
Ponissi also spent a few words on the possibility of Tanskanen joining another team: "As a passionate fan of sim-racing, I would be delighted to see Janne join an already stellar field - this season promises to be incredibly challenging for everyone."
