The season was largely dominated by Adam Rouse who took 10 victories on his way to a convincing points win over his nearest challengers, team-mates Philip Cullen and Ryan McConkey who along with Rouse went on to clinch the Constructors title for MMC Racing on its return to the GPVWC. The racing provided exciting battles, particularly in the reversed grid sprint races. The season provided us with 6 different race winners over 18 rounds in which 24 different drivers took part. The series first season was deemed a success and the format was carried over to the 2010 Masters Series season.
