2011 Supercup

 
  • After a chaotic start to the Australian Grand Prix, Torrent Motorsports drivers Rickard Hellsten and Petter Kaasa dominated the field and fought a nail-bitting battle to the flag, with Swede Hellsten taking the win. Hawkeye Racing proved to be the best of the rest, taking an impressive 3rd and 4th places.  
  • In another suprise move 2010 Constructors' Champions Draig Racing decided to withdraw from the Supercup and are replaced by Halcyon Racing. At the same time the number of teams is expanded to 15 as Torrent Motorsports are also granted entry to the series.  
  • 2011 Constructors' Champions Malta Force have made a surprise return to the Supercup, having taken the place of RTS. They have announced their all-Maltese lineup as being Jason Muscat and Terence Grech. Meanwhile TEM unveiled their lineup as being Tom Parker and Chris Williamson.  
  • Red 5 Racing became the first of the Supercup teams to unveil their 2012 lineup. The team have opted to test out two recent newcomers to the GPVWC in the shape of Masters drivers Jon MacLean and Lee Massey.
