2012 Supercup

  • Water Blue Racing driver Andrew Morgan came through a chaotic Canadian Grand Prix to take his first ever GPVWC victory. However the Northern Irish driver later announced it would be his last race for the time being as other commitments will keep him out of the cockpit for the foreseeable future. Petter Kaasa finished 2nd with stand-in teammate Jim Parisis took 3rd on his Supercup debut.
  • Norwegian Petter Kaasa bounced back by taking the win in the twisty streets of Monte Carlo for the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix. In-form drivers Andrew Morgan and Alex Cooper had strong races once more and completed the podium line-up in the principality.
  • There were smiles all around in the CSG Racing garage following Round 5 of the 2012 championship as Alex Cooper scored the team's maiden victory in the category and the team's first in GPVWC since 2010. Terence Grech grabbed Malta Force's best result of the season so far with 2nd, while Rickard Hellsten had to settle for 3rd.
  • Petter Kaasa makes it 3 in a row with victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Swedish driver Rickard Hellsten retook 2nd place overall with a 2nd place in the race, while Alex Cooper's 3rd place sees him climb to 4th overall.
  • The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was won by Norwegian driver Petter Kaasa, who extended his championship lead as teammate Rickard Hellsten retired due to technical problems. Hellsten is passed in the Drivers' Standings following another podium finish from in-form Philip Cullen.
