Alex Foulkes has designed a new model for 2026 Superleague and Superlights! See the full reveal here:
After months of speculation, GPVWC has revealed the new car model, updated to the F1 regulations that come into effect for 2026. The new model features a brand new chassis, built from the ground up by the very talented GPVWC FS2 commentator Alex Foulkes. The only carry-overs from the 2025 machine is the steering wheel, and some switches and buttons. For now, placeholder suspension arms are in place, but these are due to be modelled soon.
With a livery by Toby Davis, we have some studio shots that show off the new contours and lines of the '26 machine, with the new model showcasing more modern aerodynamic detailing, particularly on the sidepods. It strictly follows the 2026 F1 regulations, meaning we have an up-to-date counterpart to what you might see on the TV screens next year.
This was a project that was instigated by the media team at GPVWC and Alex has surpassed all expectations to deliver on a beautiful new machine.
The plan is to get the car into the game over the next couple of months, and to tweak / fix anything that needs it before a full release of the template and model in late 2025, in readiness for the 2026 season.
For now, this is just a new model; the 2026 physics are yet to be developed. But we hope you are as excited as we are!
